FITCHBURG, Mass. — Jan. 23 the Putnam Science Academy held an 18-point lead in the second half after posting a 46-37 halftime advantage over a nationally ranked team, but a late run sealed the game for Notre Dame Prep. The final score was Notre Dame 96, PSA 82.
Dayshon Smith scored a game-high 40 points to go with his four rebounds, three steals and four assists, and Tyree Robinson added eight points and eight rebounds for the Mustangs (12-5).
Shaun Lawton chipped in with 15 points and 6 assists and Oscar Assie had 9 points and 6 rebounds.
Xavier University recruit Myles Davis led NDP with 30 points and University of Pittsburgh recruit Steven Adams added 19 points.
