Empty Bowl Project
PUTNAM --- The Congregational Church of Putnam on Main Street will present an Empty Bowl Project fund-raiser from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the church. Reconciliation Service
PUTNAM --- St. Mary of the Visitation on Providence Street will hold an all-day reconciliation service from 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Priests available all day to hear confessions. Two priests available to hear confessions at all times from Putnam, N. Grosvenordale, Dayville, Moosup, Danielson, Willimantic. Anonymity is basically guaranteed if that is what you seek. PUTNAM --- The Aspinock Historical Society of Putnam will present a slide show and talk on the Flood of 1955 at 2 p.m. at the Ella Grasso Apartments Community Room on Ballou Street.
