Relay Fund-raiser
PUTNAM --- Relay For Life of Northeastern CT is holding a fund-raiser in conjunction with Wendy’s of Putnam. Located on Rt. 44, they are donating 15 percent of food purchased between 5 and 8 p.m.

Community Meal
THOMPSON --- The Thompson Congregational Church will hold a "Welcome To Our Table-Free Community Meal" from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the church on Thompson Hill. All welcome.

Dinner Dance
PUTNAM --- The Woman’s Board of Day Kimball Hospital will present "Let’s Face the Music & Dance,” a sentimental journey with buffet dinner and dancing, from 6:30 to 11 p.m. at Wright’s Mill Farm in Canterbury. Features Chris Jason and the Night Life Orchestra. Tickets are $55 and are at The Shop at Day Kimball Hospital.

NECASA Event
PUTNAM --- Putnam Bank and the Northeast Communities Against Substance Abuse will hold an event from 6 a.m. to noon in the parking lot at WINY Radio. A flipped over car will help bring home the message of what NECASA does and what substance abuse does.

Rabies Clinic
DANIELSON --- Pet Pals Northeast, a local animal rescue organization, will hold a low-cost rabies clinic from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Quinebaug Valley Veterinary Hospital on Rt. 12. $12 cash per animal. All animals must be on a leash or in a secured carrier. If available, bring prior proof of rabies vaccination. 546-1280

Lasagna Dinner
BROOKLYN --- The Federated Church on Rt. 6 will offer a take-out lasagna dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. $8.

CHEPACHET --- The second Music at the Meeting House event of the Spring Season will be an organ concert at 2:30 p.m. at the Chepachet Free Will Baptist Church. It features Marilyn Knight of the Chepachet Baptist Church organist, accompanied by Klancy Martin on the trumpet. Freewill donations welcome. Refreshments follow.
