Audit conducted
The New Roxbury Land Trust, in cooperation with the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, is conducting an audit of the Land Trust’s properties. Yale students, Dania Nasser and Jonathan Smith, visited the properties last month to assess various criteria such as soil composition, hydrology, plant and animal species present, and natural resources.
The students will analyze and use the information collected on the properties to draft determinations for each one. This award to The New Roxbury Land Trust is part of the students’ work on a clinical project for their Strategies for Land Conservation class.
