ANNUAL DISTRICT MEETING ~ MAY 7, 2012
The Electors and Citizens qualified to vote in the Putnam Special Services District, Town of Putnam, Connecticut are hereby notified and warned that the Annual District Meeting of said District will be Held at the Putnam Middle School Auditorium, 35 Wicker Street, Putnam, CT. on the Seventh Day of May, 2012 at 7:30 P.M. for the following purposes:
1. To choose a Moderator.
2. To Consider and Act upon the recommendations of the District Authority Board that Appropriations Be made for the Fiscal Year Budget in the total amount of $2,999,074.00 for the period beginning July 1, 2012 and ending June 30, 2013, and to make such Appropriations as are advisable.
3. To do any other business proper to come before such Meeting.

Town of Putnam ~ Zoning Board of Appeals
The Town of Putnam Zoning Board of Appeals will be hold a meeting on May 15, 2012, at 7:00 P.M. at the Town Hall located at 126 Church Street, Putnam, CT. A public hearing will be held on the following:
Appeal # 2012-005: Botta Land Company, LLC — Request for variances from the Town of Putnam Zoning Regulations according to Section 730 “Schedule of Dimensional Regulations” to reduce the minimum side yard requirement from 15’ – 1.5. Section 1102 “Parking Location” to reduce the street line setback requirement from 10’-0’ and setback from a sidewalk or abutting property line from 5’-0’. Section 1111 “Minimum Off-Street Parking Requirements” to reduce parking space size requirement from 10’ X 20’ to 9’ X 18’ and reduce the paved area per space from 350 S.F. to 270 S.F. Property located at 24 South Main Street. Town Assessor’s Map 15, Lot 116. Zoned C-3.
