Spirit Award
Woodstock Academy students raised $6,000 with the first-ever dance-a-thon. The first-ever Dance-a-thon fund-raiser at Woodstock Academy raised $6,000 for two patients undergoing treatment for cancer at Day Kimball Hospital. It started with one student, one idea. Academy senior, Aideen Hanlon wanted to make a change in her community. With the support of faculty, staff and students, she along with her committee of friends, including her sister Ciera, a sophomore, and good friend, Erica Martin, a junior, the Dance-a-thon was set in motion.
