Champions
The Putnam Middle School softball team won the QVJC championship game on Tuesday, June 5 in Putnam against Baldwin Middle School/Canterbury by a score of 8-0 to end their season undefeated. Rylee Hehir was the winning pitcher, throwing a perfect game, while striking out 15 batters. Offensively for Putnam, Morgan Foucault and Savannah Nichols each had 2 hits and Rylee had 3 hits. The team consists of: Dawn Hehir (coach), Rylee Hehir, Mackenzie Livingston, Savannah Nichols, Gabby Simpson, Ashley Lafortune, Kassie Kania, Adrianna Riddick, Calli Tessier, Lindsay Roberts, Alyssa Peterson, Jasmyn Holman, Morgan Foucault and Ashley Burke.
