Hat contest
PUTNAM — The Annual Lithuanian Picnic, hosted by the Immaculate Conception Convent on Liberty Highway July 22, will also include a new contest this year: a Hat Contest.
Participants are urged to register at the picnic announcer tent no later than 1 p.m. to get an entry number. Then just wear your most beautiful, creative and funny hat until the end of the contest. The contest’s secret judges will evaluate all the contestants’ hats and a decision will be made by 4 p.m. Prizes.
