service opens
DAYVILLE — Westview Health Care Center’s Outpatient Therapy and Aquatic Center announced the introduction of Pediatric and Adolescent Rehabilitation.
The Adolescent/Pediatric Outpatient Rehabilitation Program is a diagnostic and treatment program created especially for children and adolescents with learning or physical disabilities resulting from injury, illness or congenital causes.
“We’ve enjoyed a long history of providing exceptional care to our adult population and within the past decade have earned a distinct reputation for our extensive rehabilitative services, “ said Westview Administrator David T. Panteleakos. “By combining the leadership and expertise of Dr. Ferron, our highly skilled staff and our state of the art equipment, it just made sense to expand these service to an adolescent and pediatric population.”
Westview Physical Therapist Ann Marie Ferron will lead the newly developed land-based and aquatic therapy component, which will provide onsite, hands-on clinical expertise in pediatric/adolescent therapy services.
“It is very exciting to bring this new pediatric and adolescent component to Westview’s Outpatient setting,” said Ferron. “Westview’s progressive approach to caring for people has always been to meet the diverse range of patient needs and I am excited to lead this component."
