Art Show
PUTNAM --- Silver Circle is presenting its Fourth Annual Women's Show, a breast cancer benefit, through Nov. 11 at the gallery at 75 Main St., Suite 3. Drawing tickets are $10 each. 50% of proceeds benefit Day Kimball Hospital Deary Memorial Cancer Fund. Gallery open 11-5 Tuesday through Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays.

Jury Duty

Auditions
PUTNAM --- Phoenix Arts, in association with the Bradley Playhouse, will hold auditions for "Macbeth" at 7 p.m. Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 at the Bradley Playhouse downtown. Mock Vote
POMFRET --- The Pomfret Public Library will be the Voting Center for all underaged voters. Children have an opinion in who is running their country and we want to hear it! Kids will register to vote, use a mock voting booth and ballot, have an exit interview and receive an “I Voted Today” sticker.  The “polls” will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Results will be posted at www.pomfretlibrary.org and in the December Pomfret Times.

Collections
WOODSTOCK --- Voters are urged to bring food items and fuel funds for residents in need when they go to vote at the Town Hall. Town Hall will continue to be a food drive and fuel assistance collection point. 928-0208, ext. x336.
