Adrienne Coderre,

N. GROSVENORDALE — Adrienne D. Coderre, affectionately known as “Ma Tante” 105, formerly of Stein Street, died Nov. 9, 2012, in Westview Health Care Center. 
Born in 1907 in N. Grosvenordale, she was the daughter of the late Philippe and Amanda (Martin) Coderre.
Miss Coderre worked as a clerk for the U.S. Post Office in N. Grosvenordale for 32 years until retiring in 1977.
  She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church and a member of the Children of Mary.  She was very active in church activities and volunteered at St. Joseph School after her retirement for 10 years. 
She leaves her sister-in-law Georgette Coderre of Dayville; nieces and nephews, as well as grandnieces and grandnephews, great-grand nieces and great-grand nephews; her dear friend, Chris Jackel; and her “Westview family.”  She was predeceased by her sisters, Bernadette Archambault, Juliette Cournoyer, Theresa Jacobi, Madeleine Coe, Fabienne and Marie Rose Coderre; her brothers, Uldee, Fabien, Maurice, Lucien, Paul and Laurent Coderre.
The Mass of Christian Burial was Nov. 13 in St. Joseph Church, N. Grosvenordale, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Matilda McCormick,

MILLBURY, Mass. — Matilda Lena (Royland) McCormick, 89, of Millbury, died Nov. 5, 2012, at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
She was the wife of Robert McCormick.
He died in 1978.
Matilda was born Dec. 2, 1922, in New Bedford, Mass., daughter of the late Frank and Matilda (Gorang) Royland.
She enjoyed her Instant Maxwell House Coffee, cigarettes and playing bingo.
She lived in Worcester for 50-plus years and then moved back to Connecticut. She later moved to Millbury to live with her daughter.
She leaves 13 children, 26 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Two of her children predeceased her.
The graveside service was Nov. 9 in Hope Cemetery, Worcester. Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds St. Danielson.


Shirley Frink,

WOODSTOCK — Shirley (Keith) Frink, 82, died Nov. 6, 2012, at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam.
She was the wife of Robert G. Frink Sr., who died on Feb. 24, 2006. 
Shirley was born in Putnam, daughter of the late E. Dana and Hazel (Bennett) Keith, and lived in Woodstock most of her life, spending her childhood  years in Eastford and attending the Eastford schools.
She owned and operated the Maplecrest Dairy Farm in Woodstock along with her husband.
She was a member of the Senexet Grange in Woodstock, the First Congregational Church in Woodstock, and was a life member of the Woodstock Agricultural Society. 
She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, knitting and bird watching.
She leaves two sons, Robert G. Frink Jr. (Lynn), Neil Frink (Denise), all of Woodstock; a daughter-in-law, Jane Frink of Dudley; four grandchildren, Jessica Frink Ciuchta of Webster, Amy Frink Vincent of Dayville and Abigal Frink of Woodstock and Christopher Castellani of Canterbury; a niece, Kathi Bates of Florida.  She was predeceased by a son, Matthew Frink, and by a sister, Elva Sumner.

Frances Meunier,

BROOKLYN — Frances B. Meunier, 90, of Brooklyn, died Nov. 2, 2012, at Webster Manor in Webster.
She was the wife of Norman J. Meunier.
They were married Nov. 4, 1943, at St. James Church in Danielson.
He died in 1999.
She was born Dec. 31, 1921, daughter of the late Walenty and Pauline (Gurka) Dombek.
Frances was a communicant of St. Anne Church.
She worked for Arrow-Hart as an assembler. In 1951 she went to work at Gould’s Cotton Mill in Danielson as a winder.
After that she worked at Jacobs Rubber as an inspector and she retired from there in 1983. Frances and Norman enjoyed traveling.
She leaves her daughter Jo Ann Basley (Clifford) of S. Killingly; grandchildren James Basley (Susan) and their children Rachell and Harrison of Danielson, Chris Meunier (Karen) and their child Jack of Cape Cod; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Walter and Chester Dombek and her sisters Helen Czapryna and Stella Goyette.
A Mass of Christian Burial was Nov. 5 at St. James Church, Danielson, with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds St., Danielson.
