Public welcome to NAMI meeting
DANIELSON — The Windham County affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is inviting the public to its annual meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. April 16 at the United Services on N. Main Street. Reservation: 978-879-8972. 
This free meeting will feature an interactive session with Beth Reel Coaching on “forest bathing” and how to integrate being outdoors into your self-care routine. Light snacks and door prizes will be offered.
The NAMI Windham County Annual Meeting is a significant event that brings together members, supporters, and advocates of mental health in the community. It serves as an opportunity to reflect on the past year’s achievements, discuss the organization’s goals, and plan for future initiatives that aim to improve mental health resources and support systems. Attendees can expect to engage with informative presentations, participate in meaningful discussions, and network with others who are passionate about mental health advocacy. Whether you’re a long-time supporter or new to NAMI, this meeting is a chance to contribute to the mission of promoting mental wellness and breaking the stigma surrounding mental illness. NAMI Windham County is a grassroots organization dedicated to improving the lives of all people in Windham County affected by mental illness.
