Special services announced
PUTNAM — B’nai Shalom-Conservation on Church Street announced its special services for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur in mid-September.
The services will be led by Dr. Steve Schimmel, assisted by members of the congregation. There is no seating fee; all welcome.
Sept. 16: Erev Rosh Hashanah Services, 6:30 p.m.
Sept. 17: Rosh Hashanah Services at 9:30 a.m., Children’s Services by Shayna Marmon, 11:30 a.m. after the shofar blowing, Tashlich at the river at 6:15 and Rosh Hashanah Evening Services at 6:30.
Sept. 18: Rosh Hashanah Services at 9:30 a.m., Concluding Services at 6 p.m.,
Yom Kippur
Sept. 25: Cello Selections by Kurt Kaufman at 6 p.m., Kol Nidre at 6:30 p.m.
Sept. 26: Yom Kippur Services at 9:30 a.m., Yiskor at 11:30 a.m., Concluding services at 5 p.m., Storytelling by Henry Savin a Jewish storyteller.
Break-the-Fast at 7:30 p.m. A dairy meal served in the synagogue so we can break the fast as a community. All are welcome at no charge.
