Woodstock places 5 on ECC all stars

Eastern Connecticut Conference officials recently released the all stars for the 2013 cross country season. Among the honorees were five male and female harriers from Woodstock Academy.
Selected to the Large Division female all star unit were Sylvia Lawrence and Abby Lamarre. Garnering all star recognition for the men was the Acad’s top runner Pat Clarke. Brent Sorenson and Chris Lowry were accorded Honorable Mention recognition.
In the Medium Division, Plainfield dominated with four females and one male being chosen for all star honors. Ryan Saros was the lone Panther male, while the females placed standout Kerri Ruffo along with Kathryn Sanborn, Kathleen Silveira and O’Putnam female winner Elizabeth Larned on the top squad. Also selected as an all star was Lily Orr of Killingly High School.
