Winners
The Pomfret School girls’ cross country team travelled to Worcester Nov. 2 compete in an invitational against Worcester Academy, Wilbraham and Monson, and Cushing Academy, and came home with, according to coach Jillian Forgue, “an exciting win . . . in our closest and most exciting race to date.” With a final score of 35, the girls broke through a less-than-strong showing at the first mark to dominate and win, placing ahead of WMA (40); Worcester (64); and Cushing (87).
