Lorraine H. Tremblay
POMFRET CENTER —Lorraine H. (Tercjak) Tremblay, 81, of Brook Front Ln., beloved wife of Richard E. Tremblay, died peacefully July 26, 2024, at Westview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in 1942 in N. Grosvenordale, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Florence (Lamoureux) Tercjak.
Mrs. Tremblay worked for many years as a security receptionist at Staples.
Lorraine enjoyed listening to audio books, rooting on her favorite New England sports teams, and traveling throughout the country with her husband.
She leaves her devoted and loving husband of 57 years, Richard Tremblay; her son Todd Tremblay and his partner Anne Douglas of Quaddick; her daughter, Tracy Tremblay and her partner Paul Brockett of New London; her sister, Pauline Laprade (Norman) of Washington, N.H.; and a grandson. She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Tercjak.
Lorraine’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff and doctors at Westview Healthcare for the exceptional care and love that they showed to Lorraine for the past six and a half years that she resided there.
The Mass of Christian Burial is at 11 a.m. Aug. 1 in St. Joseph Church, 18 Main St., N. Grosvenordale. Burial will be private. Valade Funeral Home & Crematory, 23 Main St., N. Grosvenordale.
