DKH expands orthopedic services
PUTNAM — Day Kimball Health (DKH) recently formed of The Ortho Group at Day Kimball Health and a new partnership with Ortho Rhode Island (Ortho RI). The expanded orthopedic practice serves patients at Day Kimball Healthcare Center, at 12 South Main St. and now includes three advanced practice providers and four surgeons.
The Ortho Group provides comprehensive orthopedic care, including sports medicine interventions, therapeutic services, and a broad spectrum of non-operative and surgical treatment options for injuries such as fractures, joint replacements, sprains, and strains.
The partnership with Ortho RI further strengthens DKH’s commitment to delivering exceptional orthopedic care to the community while expanding the range of services and treatments it provides. Based in Warwick, R.I., Ortho RI is a leader in orthopedic innovation like robotic-assisted surgery, and is committed to providing the best patient experience to communities throughout southern New England.

The orthopedic surgeons include: Brian H. Cohen, MD: Board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specialiizes in open and arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, knee, and ankle; Victor Gennaro, DO: Board-certified orthopedic surgeon; Sidney P. Migliori, MD: Board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports-related surgeries and leads the Ortho RI Total Joint Replacement Program; and Douglass Weiss, MD: Board-certified orthopedic surgeon who commpleted a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine.
Orthopedic Advanced Practice Providers include: Alyson Hernigle, PA-C, AT-C: Board-certified Physician’s Assistant with a bachelor’s in athletic training; David J. LaChance, APRN: Board-certified Nurse Practitioner; and Michael G. Olm MS, PA-C: Board-certified physician assistant.
