Earth Mover
The Town of Putnam, CT will receive sealed bids for the SALE of a Caterpillar Earth Mover/Rubber Tire Dozer until 4:30 PM, Friday June 11, 2010 at 4:30 PM in the Office of the Mayor, 126 Church Street, Putnam, CT 06250.
Bids will be opened at the Selectmen’s meeting on Monday June 14, 2010. Bids must be sealed and clearly marked “EARTH MOVER.”
The Town of Putnam, CT reserves the right to waive any informality in the bidding; to accept and/or reject any and all bids; or to accept a bid which in its sole judgment is deemed in the best interest of the Town of Putnam, CT.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the bid opening.
The Equipment may be viewed Monday through Friday 7 AM to 3:00 PM by contacting Jerry Beausoleil at 860-963-6813.

A certified list of Democratic party-endorsed candidates for the Town of Pomfret for election as Governor and Lieutenant Governor, United States Senator, Representative –in-Congress 2nd District, State Senator 35th District, State Representative 50th District, Secretary of the State, Treasurer, Comptroller, Attorney General, and Judge of Probate, will be on file in my office at Five Haven Road, Pomfret Center, Connecticut, and copies thereof will be available for public distribution not later than the fourteenth day following the close of the town committee meeting, caucus or convention which made the endorsement.
A Primary will be held August 10, 2010, if the required primary petition(s) for opposition candidate(s) is filed, pursuant to Section 9-382 to 9-450 of the Connecticut General Statutes, not later than 4:00 p.m. on June 8, 2010.  Petitions form, instructions and information concerning the procedure for filing of opposing candidacies, including schedules, may be obtained from:  Marlene H. Heald, Democratic Registrar of Voters, Five Haven Road, Pomfret Center, Connecticut 06259.
