Because pedestrian and bike safety have become a priority, look for the state Department of Transportation to upgrade the crosswalk on Kennedy Drive. Currently there is one plain yellow crosswalk sign in the area between a River Trail parking lot and Riverview Landscaping/Ice Cream. It will be much more visible, much more reflective, likely flashing when the button is pushed.
