'Diamond' al Fresco

PUTNAM — Real Diamond al Fresco 2014 is coming to Rotary Park July 19.

As part of this season’s free events, the Town of Putnam is welcoming an evening of music from the tribute band Real Diamond at 7 p.m. July 19 at Rotary Park Bandstand with a rain date July 20. River Fire begins at intermission and goes until 10.  Bring a lawn chair or blanket.

Real Diamond al Fresco 2014 is sponsored by Wheelabrator Putnam, Inc. and Putnam Bank. This will mark the eighth year of sponsorship for the town’s summer al Fresco events. Real Diamond is a professional band dedicated to the faithful re-creation of the live Neil Diamond experience.

 

 since their debut in 2008 at Maple Point Performing Arts Center. The band is passionate about providing the audience with the finest Neil Diamond show short of having the man there himself. Curtis Di Diomizio fronts the band with a chillingly realistic Neil Diamond interpretation and will be accompanied by his 10 piece band. The audience will be amazed and dazzled as they dance and sing along to four decades of incredible, unforgettable songs.
