President Warren P. Scholl and members of the Northeastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, announced that the organization has officially closed on a property that will soon become the Chamber’s new home. 

The organization will be moving to a new and more prominent location at 210 Westcott Road in Killingly. Due to the tremendous success and growth of the organization over the past several years, the NCCC has outgrown its downtown location on the second floor of The Citizens National Bank in Danielson. In addition to the new office, Chamber Executive Director, Betti Kuszaj has been working with local lawmakers and representatives of the Department of Transportation and the Department of Economic & Community Development to include a Visitors Center designation as part of the new facility. 

Scholl said, “We couldn’t be happier with our new location. It has great visibility, is centrally located within our service region and is easily accessible from Interstate 395. The new building will provide nearly four times the space than the previous location and will serve as a great home for the foreseeable future. Visitors will have easy access on and off the highway and be able to pick up brochures and information about the entire region. Once we have moved in, Chamber members and the general public are welcome to attend the biggest ribbon cutting northeastern Connecticut has ever seen.”

The Northeastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce serves as the voice of nearly 500 business members and works to support local businesses by ensuring a strong regional economy, promoting the regional community, providing networking opportunities and representing business to government through partnership development and political advocacy. The Chamber organizes more than 40 community promotion, networking, business development and educational programs and events each year to support the local economy.
