KILLINGLY — A Brooklyn man was arrested on heroin charges after a traffic stop in Killingly Sept. 3.
Brian Pomposelli, 30, of Tripp Hallow Road was charged with possession of heroin.
The Troop D Quality of Life Task Force was patrolling the Attawaugan and Ballouville sections in response to complaints by concerned citizens. They saw a Subaru Forester heading west on Ballouville Road commit a traffic violation. Troopers stopped the vehicle as it turned onto I-395 via exit 94 in Killingly and interviewed the driver, Pomposelli, who allowed police to search the car. Troopers found about 30 bags of heroin hidden in the dashboard.
