Meeting Notice
Cellco Partnership, d/b/a Verizon Wireless (“Cellco”), will hold a Public Information Meeting on June 17, 2010, at 7:00 PM at the Town of Pomfret Senior Center, 207 Mashamoquet Road, Pomfret Center. At this meeting Cellco will present details of its plans to construct a wireless telecommunications facility (“Facility”) in the westerly portion of an approximately 650-acre parcel at 589 Brayman Hollow Road, Pomfret Center, Connecticut.
At this location, Cellco proposes to construct a 160-foot monopole tower within a 50’ x 50’ fenced compound. At the base of the tower Cellco would install a 12’ x 24’ shelter to house its radio equipment and a back-up generator. Access to the Facility would extend from Swedetown Road.
The proposed telecommunications facility described above is under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Connecticut Siting Council pursuant to the provisions of Section 16-50g et seq. of the General Statutes.

Zoning Commission
The Town of Putnam Zoning Commission will hold a meeting on June 16, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. at the Town Hall located at 126 Church Street, Putnam, CT. A public hearing will be held on the following:
Docket # 2010-11: Town of Putnam Zoning Commission -- Request for an amendment to the Town of Putnam Zoning Regulations, Section 720 Schedule of Uses and Districts. The proposed amendment by the Commission addresses certain uses in a C-2 Zone. The application with the proposed changes is available for review in the Land Use Office, First Floor at the Town Hall.
