Chase Graphics Inc. of Putnam recently received certification as a Forest Stewardship Council Certified Printer. Jim St. Jean, president of Chase, pictured with his wife Deb, said the council is a non-profit organization created to promote the practice of responsible forest management worldwide. “It has become Chase Graphics goal to improve our products and manufacturing procedures towards becoming a more green conscious company,” he said. “We encourage the responsible use of resources as well as our customers’ commitment to the environment by offering FSC certified papers. As a certified printer in the northeast, we can assure you that all papers bearing an FSC logo have their origins in responsibly managed forests and have been closely monitored throughout the chain of custody production process.” Courtesy photo.
