POMFRET — Recently 39 Pomfret Latin students participated in the 2012 National Latin Exam, and 29 turned in award-winning performances: Harrison Chase of Pomfret, a member of the Class of 2013, on the Latin 3 Prose exam, earned a gold medal and Summa Cum Laude status. Rob Motley of Woodstock, Class of 2013, on the Latin 3 Prose exam, earned a silver medal and Maxima Cum Laude status. Connor Shea of Putnam, Class of 2015, on the Latin 3 prose exam, earned a gold medal and Summa Cum Laude status. Peter St. Lawrence of Thompson, Class of 2014, on the Latin 2 exam, earned Magna Cum Laude status. Taylor Sulik of Danielson, Class of 2013, on the Latin 3 Prose exam, earned Cum Laude status.
